Impossible to find 1956 Chevrolet Corvette project car from south Texas...This car will make an excellent resto-rod or take it back to original specs. As pictured. Includes very nice body, both doors on hinges, deck lid on hinges, upper and lower dash - both in very nice condition, trunk lid on hinges, excellent hood, transmission tunnel cover, rolling chassis, windshield frame including lower stainless and windshield channel, left and right hand windshield posts, roller wheels and tires, 8-cylinder engine (NOM - will require a rebuild), motor mounts, transmission with tranny mounts, both heads with valve covers, water pump, original rear end (I am told - I have not checked numbers yet) and most of the correct suspension components. Frame is straight and solid with no apparent rust issues. No other parts (trim, hardware, interior, chrome, stainless, etc) are included with the car. Original VIN plate is MIA as well as upper windshield stainless header. Replacement VIN plates that pass NCRS judging are readily available at a reasonable price. VIN number is VE56S001575. Car is being sold with valid Texas title. Arrangement of shipping and associated shipping expense is responsibility of the buyer. Please email me any questions you might have.
