I have a nice running and driving convertible that is a great start car for restoration or if you dont mind the bad paint drive it like it is. I purchased this car almost 2 years ago to play around in while my other car was getting restored and have driven for the past 2 summers. The 455 engine was rebuilt by previous owner 4 or 5 years ago runs excellent no smoke no ticks or noises and gets amazing fuel mileage about 18mpg on the freeway.The convertible top is power and is in good working order was also replaced 4 or 5 years ago by previous owner. The power front bench is still functioning but in need of full restoration the back on the drivers side broke and I screwed a plate on the inside to support me (265lb man) Power windows go up and down though a couple are slow always work. The heater blows hot , the factory radio does not work and the clock does not work I have never looked into either one of them.I have done a lot of city driving and been on 4 150+mile trips with the car the only problem I have noticed is over 65mph if you hit a bump you get a shake in the steering wheel.The body is very solid have found no rust , this year the floor boards finally got some rust in the rear and will need replacing I have sheet metal laying over floor boards for support so my kids can ride in the back. The trunk is in good condition still has the factory cardboard.Most of the chrome on the car is in good condition some will need replaced from the front fender damage that you can see in the photos.Tires are in good condition I did have a flat 3 weeks ago on the front drivers and it was replaced with a used tire that does not match the rest and there is also one hubcap missing on the passanger side rear. This is a great car my family loves it if I didnt already have another project in the body shop getting restored I would keep this car.
