the car is a 1988 IROC Z28 Camaro convertible. Speedometer says 70269 miles. Never rusty. It has the original engine and runs very well. Automatic transmission works good. Cold factory air conditioning. Paint is very nice although it does have a few chips and scratches. Not a show car but a good looking driver. Still looks very nice. Maroon/burgundy outside with a beige/tan top and interior. Interior is very nice with a couple of marks here and there but still looks as good as the pictures. Dash is very nice. Top is not very old and rear window is fine. Tires are older but still good. I have had many things replaced such as the AC compresser and accumulator, alternator, belt tensioner, belt, starter, brakes, plugs, ecm computor, etc. Wheels are chrome " look-a-like " IROC 18" aftermarket and when turning sharply they rub. However they really make the car look great. It has newer "cat-back" exhaust on it and it sounds very healthy. The caution service light comes on and goes off and they don't have any idea what it is but it doesn't seem to affect the car. Also the tach does not work. Have not tried to fix it as it did not bother me. I traded for this car just over a year ago and recently I bought a 57 Chevy I like better and it is something I personally can work on. I have right at nine thousand dollars in the IROC. My loss is your gain. It's a fun car and it does look great. If this is your era you will be proud to drive it. I am selling it as is. You know how old cars can be. Inspections welcomed. The reserve is less than the buy it now price and once the reserve is met the buy it now price is no longer an option. On Sep-23-12 at 05:48:21 PDT, seller added the following information: just wanted to add; on thurs I had the car running in the driveway and it quit. It started back up and then quit again. I started it back up and took it for a ride and have had no problems since. Don't know what that could be but it must be something. So I lowered my reserve to 5750 and my buy it now to 6350 to give you extra money just in case. However I am selling it as is so please keep that in mind. Thank you.
