This car is in pristine condition, exterior is a close to perfect as a 1984 car can be. Gray leather interior is in excellent shape. Engine is in perfect running order. The car has had two owners, My family purchased the car from the original owner in 1988 and it has been with us every since. Vehicle History Report may show two title transfers, since it transferred from my mother to me. The car has the original soft top as well as the removable hard top. Original factory stereo in perfect working order. I have complete maintenance records. Very low mileage and garage kept. It has had less than 5,000 miles put on it in the last 7 years. Taken out for short drives to keep it in form. New tires with no noticeable wear, new muffler and exhaust, as well as new battery. I am taking the car in for routine yearly maintanence this week to assure it is in top running order for a new owner. This car drives like it just came off the lot. The convertible top is the original top in very good shape, it does have a small pin hole in the driver side front, but almost unnoticeable. AC is cool, but not ice cold. Interior is in very good condition. Passenger side vanity mirror on visor, has come out, but still with the car. I just did not glue it back in. You will not find a 1984 380sl that looks and runs any better than this car. The underbody and body are completely rust free. The odometer recently developed a slip, speedometer and all other guages work perfectly. I can document that the car has less than 75,000 miles, based on service records. I have had the car for over a year, and hate to part with it, as it was the car that I drove to my Sr. Prom in 1989, but just do not have the space.
