Its low center of gravity and wide tires make it easy to handle and good for freeway riding. The Valkyrie Tourer is the same bike with the addition of a fork-mounted windshield and a pair of saddlebags. The Honda Valkyrie has a horizontally-opposed, six-cylinder, four-stroke engine with belt-driven overhead camshafts and a displacement of 1,520 cc. The compression ratio is 9.8:1. The liquid-cooled engine has two valves per cylinder and an electronic starter. It has six 28 mm constant-velocity carburetors and a solid-state digital ignition. It has a five-speed, constant mesh transmission, a bore and stroke of 71 mm by 64 mm and a maintenance-free shaft final drive.
