1939 Ford Tudor Hot Rod Project. This auction is for an excellent 1939 Ford Sedan hot rod project, much of it already done. It has been set up for a small block chevrolet V8 engine & transmission. The front end isHeidt's coil over front end with polished disc brakes & rack and pinion steering. The rear axle is an expensive independent rear suspension type,all billet aluminum, polished aluminum and chrome, inboard brakes, etc etc. The rear axle and the spindles cost $ 12,000. The car comes with a pair of brand new genuine Halibrand rear wheels with the knock off spinners. These wheels have the Halibrand logos on them.The rear and front tires are matching, brand new. The front wheels on the car in the photos are rollers only. The tires are BF Goodrich Comp TA's.Comes also with a brand new premium radiator with transmission cooler and AC Condenser as seen in the pictures. Much of the metal work has been done already. The car has new front floors, rear floors and tubs are with the car but not yet installed, a new smooth firewall has been installed, hidden hinges have been installed VERY well, the body has been chemically dipped and primered with DP90. The front fenders are excellent, the rear fenders are good but need a little work in the back. The car has a NOS hood. The grille and the side panels are very nice.The headlights are complete and excellent. There are no taillights. The running boards are good, just need stripping and finishing.The car has BMW 6-series power adjustable seats with all wiring, switches and the computer for them, easy installation, already mounted onto the floor.This comes also with an expensive and very nice custom made carbon fiber dash, already fitted with Dakota Digital gauges, complete with all sending units,computers, etc. The oval bezel for the gauges was custom milled, as was the bezel. The AC openings on the dash are fitted for Vintage Air bezels and controls.There is a matching roof console, also made out of carbon fiber, with Dakota Digital readouts, lights, radio opening, map lights, etc. The car comes with a lot of rubber parts, original dash and instruments, as seen in the photos, new drop down pedals (brake & gas), new master cylinder,plus many other parts.
