Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1955 Pontiac Chieftan with a 287 V8 engine. This is definately a project car. This is my son's car who has went off to college. The original color appears to have been blue, but a some point was painted yellow. I do not have the time nor the resources or knowledge to fix this car the way that it needs to be fixed. Everything on it is original. As you can see it does have rust, but the only holes that I've noticed are in the backseat floorboard. Original hubcaps are all still on the tires. The keys have been misplaced and if they are found then I will give them or mail them to the buyer of this car. I'm guessing that it will take 2 years of dedicated work to fix it up. I've seen one other Chieftan (1956) completely fixed up and it was a beautiful car, so I know that this car has great potential. The other car had A/C, so I'm assuming that this one did at one time but not for sure. The original AM radio is still in. Also included with this car is another engine (316 V8) and a re-furbished carburator. This engine came from the 56 Chieftan when he upgraded his. Unfortunately there is NO TITLE for this car. The last time this car was registered in the state of Texas was 1981. If you would like to do some research on the car, the license plate number is AAQ 455 and the vin# is T755H17284. From what I understand a bonded title is what's need to start the process of getting a title for it and it could take up to a year to get everything done. By the time this car is re-furbished you should be able to get a title for this car. All arrangements for pick-up of this vehicle are to be made by the buyer. $500 must be paid within 48 hours by Paypal and the rest in 7 days from close of auction. All proceeds from this car will go to help pay for my son's college. Any questions, please ask before you bid because once it is sold and picked up there will be no refund. If you would like any other pictures taken please let me know and I will add them on. Thanks Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
