1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 4 dr Hardtop. This New Yorker has 33,260 original miles. I bought this New Yorker in March of 2010 and had it shipped from Iowa. It lived it's life in Nebraska until 2010 when it went to Iowa, and then here in FL. The car had a small under hood fire on the right side, some wiring got messed up and will have to be replaced. This New Yorker will have to be hauled away due to the wiring needing replaced. When it was delivered to me it was driven off the car hauler and placed in my garage. It has not been started since. I bought this car to keep at the time. However things have changed and I must sell it. I do not want to sell but such is life. I have not even cleaned it up, you are seeing it the way I got it. The good, 33,260 original miles, very minimal rust on pass side lower rockers, qtrs, "see pics" great interior, no major rust, rot or damage, paint appears original and just needs to be buffed out. I tried a spot and the trunk and she will shine right up. No rust around front or rear windows, no bubbles under the top. Chrome on bumpers is in excellent shape for the year. Top is in excellent shape, tires appear to be fairly new with 85% tread. Car is complete except for spare tire. Original jack is in the trunk. This is a 440 lean burn New Yorker with power seats, windows, and all the items you would expect on a New Yorker. It's all original and nothing has been tampered with. Fix the wiring harness, clean her up and go cruising. This is a very solid New Yorker. Please remember this New Yorker is not running at this time, and I don't have time to get it running, that will be your job. If it were running my reserve would reflect that. There are no mechanical issues that I know of just burnt wiring. This New Yorker still has the dealer sticker on the rear of the car, as well as a clear Nebraska title. You will not be disappointed with this heck of a deal and great car! New Yorker is sold as is where is and no warranty of any kind is offered nor implied. New Yorker will require 500.00 deposit within 24 hrs of auction close, and balance paid within 3 days. New Yorker can be stored in my garage for 2 weeks.
