Vehicle Detail

This NO RESERVE AUCTION is for a 1976 Porsche 911 S Widebody Sunroof-Delete Coupe Project. This project is very complete except for engine and transmission, and some other parts as noted. Suspension and brakes, body/exterior, glass, and much of the interior are complete. It is ready to be an awesome street/track project for the Porsche enthusiast. The car comes with no engine or transmission, but is a movable/steerable rolling chassis. Please read my description in detail to get an accurate picture of the state and condition of this vehicle. Exterior: As you can see, this is a custom widebody car. It began life as a 1976 narrow bodied, sunroof delete 911S. It since underwent a body conversion which added the fiberglass front and rear fender flares, rockers, front valence and aftermarket rear whale tail. The body is in overall very solid condition, and the roller sits on a set of Porsche OEM Cookie Cutter Wheels. There are no rusted panels underneath, unlike many 911 cars. There are some small paint chips and a couple of VERY small rust bubbling around the window base. The floor boards, rear torsion bar area, battery tray and other rust-prone parts are in very solid condition without rust. All of the car’s glass is included and secured, in nice condition (as you can see in the photos). As you can also see, the red paint on the car is in good condition for its age, and has a nice shine. It is not badly faded or orange peeled like many cars of this vintage. It does have several minor rock chips, etc., please see the photos for detail. Interior: The Black/Red interior includes a complete dash except gauges, steering wheel, shift knob, and steering wheel. While the gauges are missing, the car does come with complete wiring for easy replacement. The car comes with complete vent/heat controls, custom Carrera RS door panels, carpet kit, and most of the interior trim. Both manual windows are in great usable condition. Mechanical: The car does not include an engine or transmission. The car does include all of the original wiring (except engine harness), full suspension, and all brake components. The suspension and brakes are in good, well maintained condition. The complete oil tank and oil system are included. All of the steering linkage is in good working order, and the car is can be rolled and steered for getting in/out of the garage and on/off of a trailer. The tires hold air, but are old and should be replaced before use on the road. Details: This vehicle has a clear title, and is ready to sign over to the new owner. A $500 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. The balance of payment is due within 10 days of sale via certified check, wire transfer or cash in person. Pick-up or shipping of the vehicle is the full responsibility of the buyer, but I am happy to meet your shipper to load the vehicle at a mutually agreed upon time. Full payment must be cleared before vehicle pick-up. This is a rare complete coupe project opportunity for the new owner. I do, however, want all potential buyers to have a complete understanding of the condition of the car. Please ask any/all questions before bidding on this car. If you would like to speak via the phone or see the car in person (near Pittsburh, PA 15108), please message me your phone number, or send a request and I will provide mine. Thanks for your interest!
