1974 Dodge Monaco Bluesmobile 4dr Sedan 123K miles. This auction is for one 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan non running project. I am selling due to my moving and all my toys finished or not have to go. This unfinished Bluesmobile is in decent shape except for some rust issues. It has some cowling rust and the floors and trunk were patched by the previous owner. Some sheet metal work has been done since I have owned the car to the rockers, rear qtrs, and lower front fenders. The work is not complete and will need sanding, and finishing. As well as the areas that have not been done. This is not a perfect car, however it is not a rust bucket either. This Monaco was converted to a Bluesmobile in the 80's and was used up until I purchased it in 2000. It was originally a 360 small block car, but now has a 400 from a 70's New Yorker. I did not install the motor or transmission, that was done in the 80's. This Monaco has been stored in my storage building since 2000, except for the last year it has been sitting outside. The Monaco has not been on the road in 11 years. It was running when I got it. It will turn over with a battery installed. I cannot say what the internal condition of the engine is in, past the fact that it was running and driving when parked, and turns over now. It will need work to be put back on the road as you can see in the pics. This Monaco is not complete as far as the int, and engine. Pics speak for themselves. Remember this is a project that will require lots of work to be road worthy once again. I can't give you estimates on any work that needs to be done, that will be your job to do the work or have it done. What you see is what you get!!! The 74 will make an excellent Bluesmobile when finished, and my loss can be your gain. I have built and sold many Bluesmobiles over the last 22 years and I have never sold one unfinished until last month, so this will be the second one. Just need them gone at this point.
