Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet Project with. This car started life as a Targa, but underwent a properly done Cabriolet conversion complete with a nearly new and fully operational manual soft top. This project has complete suspension and brakes, and has had a 964 “RS” body kit installed. This could be an awesome street rod project for the Porsche enthusiast. The car comes with no engine or transmission, but is an easily movable/steerable rolling chassis. Please read my description in detail to get an accurate picture of the state and condition of this vehicle. Exterior: The body is in overall solid condition, and the roller sits on a very wide set of 15” alloy wheels which fill out the fenders very nicely, and the wheels are wrapped in nearly new tires. They are not, however, OEM rims. There is one rust spot in the front trunk area that can be seen in the photos. The floor boards, rear torsion bar area, and other parts are in very solid condition. The car’s front glass is included as pictured, but is not properly secured (as you can see in the photos). The front and rear bumpers are new, and are included, but are not secured to the vehicle. As you can see, the body kit is not painted and will need new paint. Interior: The interior includes a complete dash, and many of the switches, knobs, etc. Much of the door and rear seat area trim is included. The shifter assembly and pedal cluster are also complete and included. The car is missing steering wheel, rear seats, gauges, and some other pieces. The dash does have a couple of cracks. Mechanical: The car does not include an engine or transmission. The car does include most of the original wiring, full suspension, and all brake components. The oil tank and oil system are included. All of the steering linkage is in good working order, and the car is easily rolled and steered for getting in/out of the garage and on/off of a trailer. Details: This vehicle has a VA theft title, and is ready to sign over to the new owner. The car was stolen at some point and stripped of VIN plates, so it does have a VA issued VIN number and a title which reflects that. The car should be easily registered in any state without an issue. A $250 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of sale. The balance of payment is due within 10 days of sale via certified check, wire transfer or cash in person. Pick-up or shipping of the vehicle is the full responsibility of the buyer, but I am happy to meet your shipper to load the vehicle at a mutually agreed upon time. Full payment must be cleared before vehicle pick-up. This is a great project opportunity for the new owner, or an excellent source for S suspension and other valuable parts. The car does, however, need a lot of work to be made whole, and I want all potential buyers to have a complete understanding of what is/is not included, and the condition of those pieces. Please ask any/all questions before making an offer on this car. If you would like to speak via the phone, please message me your phone number, or send a request and I will provide mine. Thanks for your interest!
