BEWARE, THIS IS NO ORDINARY PROWLER… THIS IS AN ASS KICKER !!! If you’re new to the Plymouth Prowler venue, here is a brief background on these wonderful cars. Plymouth's Prowler is the first factory-built hot rod in history, a vehicle that simply has no direct competition because it is unique. When the Prowler made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show and everyone loved it, but they just figured it would be just another concept car that would never see production. Chrysler was undergoing another facelift in their ongoing restructuring of the company’s image, so they blew the public away by putting the Prowler into production. The design is full of unusual elements including encased projector-beam headlamps flanking the grille, motorcycle fenders for the front tires, composite trim pieces, the stamped aluminum body shell and the aluminum-intensive chassis and suspension. Whether you’re a car nut or not, the Prowler has a very clean and sculptured appearance that draws you to it. From the front, the Prowler borrows a look very similar to the 1937 Ford grille, the body flows back to the short, sharply slanted windshield, getting wider and taller all the way to the firewall. From the firewall back to the leading edges of the rear fenders, there is a very strong lower body sculpture that looks great and also stiffens the body. The Prowler has a unique look that makes it an instant classic. For 2001 the Prowlers came with all the options from the factory which includes: the powerful 3.5L V6 Powerplant, Auto/Stick Transmission, Rear Wheel Drive, Koni™ Shocks, Autometer™ Tachometer, Air Conditioning, Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors, Tinted Windows, Dual Airbags, Dual Chrome Exhaust Tips, Chrome Rims, (instead of the silver painted wheels), and Thick Goodyear Eagle tires. THIS CAT HAS CLAWS ! Starting with a PAXTON NOVI 1000 SUPERCHARGER, an NX NITROUS OXIDE System, a BORLA CAT BACK exhaust system, (sounds GREAT), and the 3.89 rear gears were upgraded for heavy duty 4.11 gears. All this work was professionally done by RACING SOLUTIONS in Houston Texas at a total cost of $15,200.30. Compare this Supercharged / Nitrous Oxide Injected Prowler to ALL the others listed on Ebay. Then take a minute to compare buying ANY of these other Prowlers and then upgrading them to what this Prowler already has. Some quick arithmetic and you’ll quickly see what a bargain this car really is. Not to mention the custom pin striping job. This car is in EXCELLENT CONDITION !
