Vehicle Detail

1971 Volvo Penta 170 hp (inline 6) i/o ski boat (good for wakeboarding too!) The Good: Interior is completely redone with new floor, gauges, has valid ohio watercraft sticker thru March 2012, seats fold out to lay down on (seats are in good shape, but some minor wear), Kenwood 50w x 4 detachable face stereo with speakers, new paint job and urethane coating. Mechanically, has new starter and head gasket, electric tilt/trim, all gauges function, new intake manifold, new spark plugs. The bad: It does turn over and start, it just doesn't run great. Will go for a few seconds and quit. This was a project of mine, but just ran out of time and money to finish it off. Would make a nice family boat for someone to finish fixing up. Have clean ohio title in hand, and comes with a fully function tip trailer with winch and working lights. If you know what you are doing you could also part this boat out. Just the manifolds also on ebay go for $700-900 each. So you could use it for that too if you Super low starting bid and No RESERVE! (just want it out of my driveway)Or BUY NOW FOR JUST $1200.00 Terms: 1/2 of purchase price or $500 (whichever is less) is due 48 hours from auction close via paypal. Balance due upon pickup. Arrangements for pickup must be made within 7 days of auction close. (I am flexible on these, just want to avoid any none payment situations, thanks!) Sells as is. On Aug-13-10 at 04:21:52 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: I just added some additional pics of the transom/engine area. The transom is 100% solid and I believe it has all new motor mounts as well. Also if you look in the pic where the white engine cover is still attached you will see that the two rear seats are removed. Those attach simply with two wood screws and they DO come with the boat, I just removed them to make it easier to access the engine when I tinkered on it. Also, there is some dirt on the floor of the boat in the picture from me climbing in and out, that cleans right up, and the carpet looks great when it is vacuumed out. Just needs a good scrubbing. Thanks!
