Here we have a 1973 450 sl mercedes. This car was driven to a body shop about 10 years ago to get the left front fender repaired. As you can see that never happened. It has been sitting since that time and I am sure it will require a lot of work to be made road worthy again. I have been storing it for about 8 years for the elderly gentleman who owns it and I finally convinced him it is time to sell. He said he had a brand new $1100 dollar convertible top installed just prior to driving it to the body shop. It has never been up since so it may need replacing again. Other than the front fender and lower front valance the body is very straight. The clear coat is falling of it which is what you see in the pics.The leather seats are all cracked and will at the least need seat covers. All of the glass is good and I believe the car to be complete. The engine is a v8 and is not locked up. It still turns by hand. There is rust through on the drivers side floorboard and the drivers side in the trunk is flaking rust. Other than that it appears solid. This will need a complete restoration or make a great parts car.
