1981 VW Rabbit Diesel 4DR LS Hatchback. This car is one owner. I purchased it new in 1981. It has never been driven in the winters I stored it faithfully. It has been in storage for twenty years and my son decided he wanted a project so we replaced many things on it to get it in tip top condition. It has approx 65k miles on it. Here is a list of what has been replaced in the past 500 miles I also have receipts for most of it • Timing Belt • Both front calipers plus rotors and pads • Both rear brake shoes and hardware plus emergency brake cables • Both CV shafts • All four tires brand new and it just had a four wheel alignment • FULL exhaust system • Rear struts • Fuel and air filters did the injection lines at the same time plus glow plugs • Water pump and associated hoses • Sony explode cd player and four speakers • Brake vacuum pump gaskets • Red top optima battery Car has tons of new parts as you can see. There may be a few other things I left out. It has alloy BBS rims. The flaws are there are two dents on the driver’s side. Slight rust on the rear hatch underneath lip. Was slight rust by drivers door was repaired and is pictured. Vent windows don’t work. The odometer stopped working after restoring. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
