Vehicle Detail

Description: Here is a 1967 Chevrolet Impala Sports Coupe/Fastback. This car runs and drives, starts and stops but needs a complete restoration from top to bottom to be a show car. To me, the 1967 Impala is one of the COOLEST best looking Impalas ever made! You see a lot of 1965 and 1966 Impalas on the street and at car shows, but it is not every day that you see a 1967! This car would make a great car to restore, fix up and drive as it is, or maybe make a lowrider. The choice is yours! These do not come along often so do not miss this rare opportunity! DRIVETRAIN Anyway, The car has a 350 V8 (I believe) with an automatic transmission. The engine starts easily and runs fairly well. I purchased a new battery for my own car last summer and never used it so I installed it in here. The car starts up and moves under its own power. The radiator seems to hold fluid just fine. The dual exhaust sounds good but is not obnoxious. It is a full dual exhaust that comes out the rear. The transmission seems to shift just fine in low, 2nd, and drive, as well as reverse. The rearend seems to work properly and does not make any unusual noise. I am not sure of the gear ratio. The brakes are operable but should be gone through as they are a little soft. I believe they are the original drum brakes front and rear. The headlights and turn signals are operable. I drove the car around my yard and the speedo may not be hooked up. The red lights light up when you start the car and turn off when running like they should. The clock is not working. The odometer shows 64,257. (I do not know if it is 64k or if it is 164k) The blower motor works with the controls. The aftermarket radio makes noise and static through the speakers but needs to be replaced. INTERIOR I believe the interior to be mostly original. It is nearly 100% complete and comes as shown. It is a factory black interior with newer front bucket seats. The interior could use a headliner and a complete resto for show. All the glass is present. The side and rear windows are fine. The windshield has a crack on the passnegers side. There is no front or rear window trim on the car. BODY FLOORS AND FRAME I believe the outer body is painted bright red! It is a cool looking color on this car! It appears to have been white at one time and originally green. The body is fairly straight and not bad for a 40+ year old car! If you look close you can tell there is filler in the rear 1/4 panels. (I took OVER 75 pics of the car so be sure to check them all out before you bidI did not see any obvious huge holes in the front floors. (they seem fine but I did not remove the carpet or anything to do a close inspection) The trunk floor will eventually need replacement. I took a bunch of pics of the frame as well to show exact condition. The main rails seem ok. The drivers side below the rocker panel has been repaired. I also noticed the frame has a couple holes on the curved corners. (again, I encourage you to view all the pics I took, everyones perspective on things is different and pics always tell the truth) With the ability of body shop guys these days, I dont think it would be a big deal to fix. At worst, I saw a rust free 67 frame on ebay for sale for $595.00. Please check out all the pics. The gas tank was removed from the car when I got it. It is in the trunk and the lines are hooked up. The one strap is cut, the other is not if you want to install it underneath the car where it belongs. I am not trying to nit-pick the car, I just want to be honest! READY FOR FUN? If you are looking for a fun car that you can drive and enjoy this summer, this may be the car for you! The car has NOT been regularly driven in a few years so I would recomend doing a good "once over" inspection on the car before you plan on regularly driving it. The car does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale. WHY BUY THIS CAR? Buying a car like this sure beats pulling a car out of a field that has not been looked at for 25+ years and needs absolutely everything. Skip the bs and get out and WITH SOME WORK you should be able to drive and enjoy this one! Not eveyone in the world wants to spend $20k on a perfect car so hopefully this is a great car for you! I have had 2 differnt people see the car in my driveway (right after I bought it) and ask if it was for sale! At the time I was not ready to sell. Everyone knows these cars and you do not see them often these days! This will be a great investment for the new owner! The feeling when you climb in and go down the road is awesome. The 1967 Impalasare getting nearly impossible to find in any condition. People who own them do not ever want to sell them. (it seems there are many more people who want to own these cars than there are cars available) DONT MISS THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY! Sold as is simply because it is used. This one starts super low with NO RESERVE! Be the high bidder and you WILL own this car! No games or high reserve prices here! The car needs to be towed to its destination simply because it has not been regularly driven in a while. You could drive it on to your trailer but obviously I cannot offer any guarantee against mechanical failure. Not trying to bomard you with info, just want to be as honest as possible. I think I covered everything to the very best of my knowledge. Feel free to email me with any and all questions before you bid. I took over 75 pics so be sure to check them all out and you will see the exact condition of the car. I want you to be excited about your "new" vintage Impala when you get it. So be sure to ask any and all questions before you bid. I dont want you to show up and nit pick the car to renegotiate the price. You can gladly inspect the car in person before you bid. I have nothing to hide. This is a cool classic Chevrolet which you can drive and enjoy in a short amount of time instead of spending months and months and thousands of dollars restoring every single thing on it. You can work on it while you drive it and have fun with it! Be sure to email me with any questions you may have about the car and request anymore pics before you bid. THIS IS A NO RESERVE NO BS AUCTION! I AM STARTING IT LOW WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE SO BID EARLY AND DONT MISS OUT! THE HIGH BIDDER WILL BE OWNING THIS ONE THIS SOON! Please do not ask me to end the auction early. Having the HIGH BID and WINNING THE AUCTION actually means YOU BOUGHT THE CAR! If you are not 100% sure you can do this deal, please DO NOT bid!
