You are bidding on a very well-preserved 1959 AH bugeye Sprite. It has had 1 repaint in its original color of leaf green and it has green seats. This car has been a south Texas car until I bought it, so rust is very minimal. As you can see from the pictures, the floors are in nice condition, as are the fender wells, rockers and other parts that usually rust in wetter climates. It doesn't look to me like the engine has ever been out of the car because all the original bolts are still in place. It also doesn't appear that it's ever been involved in an accident. The car is not running now, but was running about 2 years ago. It deserves a complete restoration as it's so original and complete. There is an extra windshield and frame, as shown in the pictures, but the top bows are missing. I'm not sure why the roll bar was put in the car because it's never been raced. I suspect some father didn't want his son or daughter to be hurt if the car ever rolled over. NOTE: There is NO TITLE for this car. EBay does not have a category for cars without Titles, so disregard the box that says the car has a clear Title. Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale as Georgia is a non-Title state for cars this old.
