The upgraded stereo ($3.5K+ after-market stereo components): - using Infinity Kappa 682.11cf speaker mains (all 4 doors) and JL Audio custom-fit box/sub (interior match) - 2x discrete, JL Audio amps for independent amplification through a JL Audio clean sweep, digital sound processor to clean up factory stereo signal (still using factory head unit to retain SYNC and voice-command features); 750-watts for the subwoofer and 600-watts/4 channels for the main speakers for a combined total of 1,350 watts - manual control of amplifier load boundary (frequency limit when the subwoofer/'main speakers' exchange control of processing sound signal between the two amps) for those who want to tweak range of sub-woofer duty frequency - JL-Audio's RC1: remote-control, subwoofer, dial knob, installed on the driver side, for the subwoofer so you can dial it down or up at your discretion - the entire system is run through an Audio Control LCQ-1 3-range 24-channel equalizer that allows custom, discrete EQ settings for 3-range (high-, mid-, and low-frequency), allowing a really dynamic sound profile, I have it set up to run with clear mids & highs with a dash of punch in the sub-range so the system will have longevity but still great performance - This vehicle did not include the in-dash navigation but did include 6-disc changer with XM Satellite receiver. - won't win any sound competitions but it sounds great, a lot better than your factory "premium" sound packages--that's for sure!!
