Specifications:   1997 Ford F-150 Standard Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 2-Door Regular Cab, Ford 4.6 Liter Triton V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, 139” Wheelbase, GVWR - 5,500#, GAWR Front – 2,800#, GAWR Rear – 2,900#, LT225/75R16 Front-245/75R16 Rear Tires, 16x7.0 Rims, VIN: 1FTDF17W2VND13626, 135,372 Miles.    This pickup, until a week ago was owned by a school district in our great State of Mississippi, the school district which is about 90 miles from our location has owned the vehicle since new and was used by the district employees as a work truck (see link for current auto-check history report).  We purchased the truck directly from the school district along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash.  After purchasing we checked the fluids and drove it the 90 miles to our location, cleaned it, checked the fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck cranks and runs but does not idle smoothly and the check engine light is on (diagnostic code P1504- Idle Air Control Circuit- replacement part ranges from $25-$45), we did drive it back to our location with no issues or problems but it is running a little rough – not knocking or tapping or anything like that, transmission shifts out properly, oil pressure is good, engine temperature is good, fluids look good, air conditioning is cold, heat is hot, tire condition is questionable and can be seen in the photos and truck seems to have plenty of life left in it!  Please take a look at the photos and notice the following, it has several dings, dents and scratches all around it – look at the photos, the interior is also rough all over – seats torn – headliner ripped out – again look at the photos, the inside of the pickup bed is rusted with some holes and the tailgate is missing, along with some surface rust on both the front and rear bumpers – the driver side mirror is missing, the driver side rear taillight cover is broken, a plastic piece of trim is hanging from the front passenger fender well, and the owner’s manual is no longer available. This truck is 100% roadworthy, and even though it’s rough on the inside and in the bed, it does run and drive, a little TLC and will make someone a good ride, great work or old farm truck.
