I'm selling most of my vintage motorcycles, please check my ebay for other rare or restored motorcycles.You are bidding on a 1973 Honda cr250, vin# cr250m-1014127, engine# cr250me-1014366; this cr250 is mostly original with a few period correct performance parts. This bike comes with no title only a bill of sale, most states did not have titles for dirt bikes in the 70s. This bike was set up for motocross so it could be raced in the vintage series. A lot of the original parts such as rear shocks, carburetor, and pegs, are included with the bike as can be seen in one of the photos. BODY::: The body work is in good used condition, it does look like the body was repainted at one point but still looks good and has the original factory color match. This bike has the original aluminum gas tank which looks to be in good shape. All of the hardware is in great shape with good chrome and zinc on all fasteners. The wheels and spokes are in excellent condition with no pitting anywhere. The side stand is missing on this bike since it was set up as a motocross bike. But overall cosmetically it is in great condition for a dirt bike. MECHANICAL::: The bike runs great and shifts nice and smooth through all the gears, but the bike is very hard to kick start when cold because it was ported and has larger carburetor for racing, it also has a high compression piston, so can be difficult to kick start. The bike had full service done on it recently which included, ultrasonically cleaned carburetor, new spark plugs, sprocket, chain, air filter, tires, and points.
