Vehicle Detail

Super low starting bid, priced to sell! There is no reserve, please only bid if you intend on following through, a second chance will be made if cash payment is not received in 7 days after auction ends. Located in So. Cal. just south of the Pomona Fair Grounds. Pick up only, or I can deliver for a small fee. You can send a third party to pickup and delivery if you do all the leg work, take all the risk, and expense. Cash due upon pickup. Here is a Franken-Vespa up for sale. The Good: Frame is straight, no dents or dings, except along right edge of leg sheild from mild lay down, both cowls were just redone, with no visible dents. All cables and housings, tires, and inner tubes are new, has a floor mat. Just flushed fuel lines, cleaned the carb, and put new gas in it. It does start right up after a couple of kicks with the choke out. Once choke is in you have to keep up the RPM's. I am not a tuner, so carb needs a couple of adjustments, and you are good to go. Comes with an extra seat, a Pinasco single rider seat, has a vinyl gray wrap I put on it, doesn't look the greatest, but works. Has Euoro clear turn signal lens, red bulbs in front turn signals. Has Harley Tomb Stone tail light with license plate mount. The Bad: Original frame was in an accident, and frame was swapped for the frame on it now, which has a Washington plate and was last registered a quite a few years back. Checked at DMV here in Cali, and it did not come up as stolen. When front end was removed, someone cut the wires. I was able to find homes for most of them, but the wires are just twisted and held together with electrical tape, so you will probably want to redue all that. Seat has tears. The Ugly: paint is half original silver, and half spray can flat black. If you want to paint the whole bike the flat black, that is an option. Kick pedal works, but that was bent in crash, as well as a 3" part of the case, as seen in photo #9, and carb box has a crack as well. Photo #10. Has a Pinasco light weight nylon flywheel, but most of the fins were broken off in crash. Bike feels very fast for a 125cc, and since it had the lightend flywheel, I assume there were other modifications done to the engine as well, but I am just guessing. Always kept in a garage, never stored outside. Great cheap transportation.
