Hello, this is an auction for a rare 1970 Ford Thunderbird, suicide 4 Door Landau Thunderjet 429 V-8 Cruise-O-Matic. The car is black exterior with black and gray cloth interior. The Thunderbird is a project car, as of today, the engine is locked up.This is a mechanic's special. The cost of the repairs exceed my budget. This Thunderbird is rare, I believe only 12,000 or less 4 Dr of this model were manufactured. The VIN indicates that the car was manufactured in California. I have the service records from the past 3 years. The car has new tires, fuel tank, fuel gauge sender, battery, brakes, master cylinder, carburetor. The Thunderbird was running and driving prior to dropping it off at the mechanic's garage, earlier this year. As he resembled the car, replacing the gas tank and fuel lines, the engine locked up. He could not give me any details to what degree the engine is ceased or how it happened. But the cost to repair the car, has exceeded my budget.
