Folks your looking at a 2008 F250 4x4 with disassembled engine at the moment. The lifter went bad which bent a push rod. The dealer told me the entire engine would have to be replaced due to the probability of the cam shaft being damaged. BUT, only the intake and passengers side head have been removed so who really knows if the cam is bad or not without tearing it all down. I was charged 3500 just to get it torn down that far and they told me what went wrong. I was told 8500 for a new engine. Don't have that. All the engine parts are covered in the bed of the truck and all there. As for the rest of the truck. Its in excellent condition. It had almost 122000 miles on it when the lifter went. The 5R110 auto tranny is perfect, the E-shift transfer case is perfect, the front and rear limited slip axles are perfect and the interior and body are in great shape. The tires are decent but the right front has a slow leak. The spare is good though. The rims are 18 inch and look great. At the moment, I am in Afghanistan but the truck is with my wife in Alabama. I wont be home from this tour until maybe December. I still owe money to the bank which is why I'm selling it. The title will be a clear AZ title since its still registered in Arizona were I bought it. I didn't see any reason to register it in AL if I cant drive it. Now the way it would work, the winning bidder can pay by cash or certified check, I will take that and add the difference out of my pocket for whats left on the note, the bank will send the title to me and I will sign it over. The winning bidder can physically take the truck a soon as they want however. Just keep in mind that I'm trying to conduct this from FOB Fenty in Afghanistan so transactions will be done through my wife. If you just want it for parts, the body and drive line are well worth the starting bid. But like I said, it will have a clear title and not a salvage title so if you rebuild or replace the engine then its able to be registered as a normal truck. I cannot ship so youd have to come pick it up with a trailer or roll back or make the arrangements to have it picked up. The truck box you see in the picture does NOT come with it. Its actually off the truck right now.
