2007 Dodge Caravan SE No Reserve Ever -Always $1 Starting Bid - High Bidder WinsWe only sell items on eBay - no salesman - no sales lot - simply No Reserve eBay AuctionInspection welcome and encouraged prior to bidding, M-F, 8am -5pmCST!Additional photo links available upon request - simply message seller for details!DESCRIPTION ​​​​​​​Specifications: 2007 Dodge Caravan SE Van, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 4-Door (2 Front, 2 Rear Sliding Doors), Chrysler 3.3 Liter V6 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Power Windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Cloth Seats, Carpet Floor, AM/FM/CD Stereo, GVWR – 5,400#, GAWR Front – 2,850#, GAWR Rear – 2,750#, P215/70R15 Tires, VIN: 1D4GP25E87B146643, 147,440 Miles, One Owner (No salvage, wreck or flood history – auto check history report can be emailed upon request)  Negatives to list: 1.  Alternator is currently not on the van, both mounts for the alternator are snapped off, at first it appeared to be broken off from the block of the engine but upon further inspection we found out the mounting brackets are attached to the front timing cover which can be replaced, other options mentioned in the internet blogs are to professionally TIG weld both broken brackets onto the timing cover plate, if properly aligned and welded it could turn into a much cheaper fix than replacing the front timing cover, AT THIS TIME THE ALTERNATOR IS NOT ON VAN BECAUSE OF BROKEN MOUNTS, NO BELT TURNING WATER PUMP, CANNOT BE RAN VERY LONG BECAUSE WATER PUMP IS NOT TURNING AND VAN WILL OVERHEAT!!! 2.  Small scratches between the driver’s door and rear sliding doors, small dent in driver’s rear fender, back bumper faded, dent and scratches along the passenger side door and rear quarter panel, scratches between the passenger door and rear sliding door. 3.  Interior plastics worn and faded in spots, carpet up front and in back is in very poor condition, rear seats are missing, headliner is completely missing. This van until a week ago was owned by a local Sheriff’s Department in our neighboring State of Louisiana which is about 160 miles from our location.  It was used by employees of the Sheriff’s Department/City since new in 2007, no salvage-flood-fire history and has been on a fleet maintenance program!  We purchased the van directly from the Sheriff’s Department along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash.  After purchasing we checked all the fluids, pulled it onto a trailer and hauled it 160 miles back to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay.  The van will crank and runs fine but has a problem with broken alternator mounts that won’t allow us to run the engine more than a few minutes, engine starts and runs smooth with no issues to speak of and isn’t leaking oil/water and transmission seems to shift properly, we never ran it more than 2-3 minutes watching the gauges and listening for changes in the sound of the engine, without the belt on because of the broken alternator mounts the water pump isn’t pumping, we have investigated this issue on the internet blogs and have found that this is a pretty common issue with the 3.3 and 3.8 V6 Chrysler engines, regardless we are selling this van AS IS and with NO RESERVE! Any other issues we listed above, there are no seat in back and the carpet is in poor shape, the tires are in like new condition and can be clearly seen on the photos, with the right repairs to the alternator mounts there still seems to have plenty of life left in this van! This van until a week ago was owned by a local Sheriff’s Department in our neighboring State of Louisiana which is about 160 miles from our location.  It was used by employees of the Sheriff’s Department/City since new in 2007, no salvage-flood-fire history and has been on a fleet maintenance program!  We purchased the van directly from the Sheriff’s Department along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash.  After purchasing we checked all the fluids, pulled it onto a trailer and hauled it 160 miles back to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay.  The van will crank and runs fine but has a problem with broken alternator mounts that won’t allow us to run the engine more than a few minutes, engine starts and runs smooth with no issues to speak of and isn’t leaking oil/water and transmission seems to shift properly, we never ran it more than 2-3 minutes watching the gauges and listening for changes in the sound of the engine, without the belt on because of the broken alternator mounts the water pump isn’t pumping, we have investigated this issue on the internet blogs and have found that this is a pretty common issue with the 3.3 and 3.8 V6 Chrysler engines, regardless we are selling this van AS IS and with NO RESERVE! Any other issues we listed above, there are no seat in back and the carpet is in poor shape, the tires are in like new condition and can be clearly seen on the photos, with the right repairs to the alternator mounts there still seems to have plenty of life left in this van!
