This item is being sold strictly on eBay with no reserve and a $1.00 starting bid, not for sale locally and will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price! Specifications: 2005 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 4-Door Extended Cab, GM 4.8 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, Receiver Hitch, GVWR - 6,200#, GAWR Front – 3,600#, GAWR Rear – 3,686#, LT245/75R17 Tires, VIN: 2GCEC19V151268195, 288,866 Miles, One Owner (No salvage, wreck or flood history – see auto check history report below by additional photo links!). Negatives to list: Engine has a slight tap in the top end, sold to us the same way, we think that with the high miles (288K) that the oil pump and screen are going out and clogged, can’t confirm this and we don’t want to get into to any repairs, engine oil pressure gauge rides low and the longer it runs the worse it gets but the engine does run fine with plenty of power still. Small hole in driver’s seat, headliner is coming down in cab, gas gauge doesn’t work showing empty when full, hood release lever is broken leaving only a pull cable which can be pulled with a pair of pliers. Oxidation and discolored headlights, some scratches around the hood area, small crack in lower grill/bumper area. Slight scratches, scuffs and discolorations on door where decals were and where the tool box was located, one of the four center caps are missing. Dent in rear bumper, dents and scratches along the passenger side of the truck started at the lower rear door and continuing onto the bed of the truck (does not affect the drivability in any way). This truck until a week ago was owned by a local power company in our neighboring State of Louisiana which is about 80 miles from our location. It was used by an employee of the power company since new in 2005 (see link for current auto-check history report), no salvage-flood-fire history and has been on a fleet maintenance program! We purchased the truck directly from the power company along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we checked the fluids, pulled it onto a trailer and hauled it 80 miles back to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck will crank right up and drive down the highway but truck was sold to us with a known tap in the engine, upon further inspection we believe the oil pump is starting to fail causing the top end of the engine to start tapping, the oil pressure is running low at idle/running, the longer the engine runs the oil pressure warning light will come on dash, we never ran it more than 5 minutes watching the gauges and listening for changes in the upper end, regardless we are selling this truck AS IS and with NO RESERVE! Any other issues we highlighted and listed them above, other than that the transmission shifts fine, A/C blows cold, heat is hot and other than one rip in the driver’s seat the interior is in good shape, the tires are in decent shape and can be clearly seen on the photos and photo links, with the right repairs there still seems to have plenty of life left in it! We have purchased items from this location before and they seem to all have been well maintained and well taken care of and they always inform us of any issues they have prior to purchasing! We are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, run and drive, but needs engine work to be 100% roadworthy but should make someone a great truck.
