Specifications: 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 2-Door Regular Cab, LWB Long Bed, Dodge 5.2 Liter V8 Magnum Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Bucket Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Cassette, GVWR – 6,400#, GAWR Front – 3,650#, GAWR Rear – 3,806#, P225/75R16 Tires, VIN: 1B7HC16Y5XS305425, 192,261 Miles. List of Negatives: (Pics of each of these in link) 1. Transmission will not pull good in forward or reverse, you can rev engine up very high and it will barely pull, will pull both ways but not good enough to drive, has fluid in it and looks/smells dirty~ 2. Headlights faded and oxidized, plastic on front bumper faded, chrome on grill starting to bubble, right front blinker cover broken. 3. Paint faded and scratched in various spots, mostly along both sides of the truck bed, the tailgate and inside the bed of the truck. 4. Dents/damage located at on driver door, tailgate and lower passenger side behind passenger door, inside the bed of the truck (surface rust w/ no holes). 5. Windshield is cracked. 6. Driver’s seat has a small hole in the bottom side. 7. Dash of truck completely broken apart and is a mess (typical for these years model Dodge Trucks). 8. Headliner completely out of interior. This pickup until a week ago was owned by a local county here in our home State of Mississippi, the county purchased the truck new and was used by employees as a work truck (see link for current auto-check history report), no reported damage-wreck history and has been on a fleet maintenance program but has been worked out of! We purchased the truck directly from the county along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. We were told prior to purchasing it that the transmission was bad, cleaned it, checked fluids again, tried to put in gear drive around and gave up, then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck cranks right up and runs, battery is dead and requires a boost, engine seems to be strong and runs great, transmission as mentioned before will barely pull when engine is almost full throttle (will need to be hauled away for our location but we can load on any type trailer), oil pressure is good, engine temperature is good, fluids look good, air conditioning doesn’t work but may only need charging, heat is hot, pickup does not have any warning or service lights on the dash, tire condition can be seen in the photos and truck seems to have plenty of life left in it once the transmission is fixed! Please take a look at the photos and notice the following, truck has several dents and scratches all around it – the paint on the entire truck is faded and scratched in places, you can tell county employees have driven it all around town bumping into stuff, the tires are slightly worn but still in good condition, the overall condition of the truck bed is fair with scratches and dents all along the inside of the truck bed and on the tailgate, the inside of the truck bed is dented, scratched and rusted (surface rust only), the dash is a complete mess, broken and in pieces (very common for Dodge truck of these year models). While there are some issues with this work truck, it should be able to make someone a great cheap truck with some work, we are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale along with a bad transmission, it will crank up, run but will not pull, is rough in spots but could make someone a great work truck, perfect farm truck or perfect truck to put a worker in!
