Vehicle Detail
Nice original first year Honda S65 Sport. Single cylinder 4 stroke 65cc motor, overhead cam, 6.2 hp @10,000 rpm, top speed claimed 56 mph. Weighs only 171 lbs and carries me (210 lbs) with ease and will pull me up a hill. 190 MPG claimed! I dont know about that, but a tank of gas seems to last forever. 4 speed transmission shifts easily and the clutch operates smoothly. Both brakes are adequate and the speedometer works well. Kick start only, but starts with ease usually on the first kick. You can watch this video to see how it runs and how easily it starts. Original tires still hold air but should be replaced if you plan to ride it regularly. The horn and tail light are not working at this time but I may be able to fix that by the time the auction ends. Both high and low beams work on the headlight. This motorcycle has a flywheel magneto type ignition so it doesnt need a battery to run. The battery is only needed for the lights when the engine is off. There is a slow drip from the carburetor but no oil leaks. The speedometer glass is cracked but still works good. Original key works in all 3 positions. The seat has a few small cuts/tears as seen in the pics. Overall, this little bike is in very good condition for being 52 years old. It must have lived a very pampered life. I have a clear title for this little motorcycle and I will also provide a bill of sale. I can transport the bike to a loading facility in Omaha Nebraska for no extra charge or I can store the motorcycle in my heated shop until picked up, as long as it is paid for in full. You can get a free shipping quote at Funtransport.com, buyer arranges shipping but I can assist as much as possible. Good luck! On Jan-04-18 at 13:46:54 PST, seller added the following information: I just noticed the title reads 1966, although all these bikes were built in 1965 and then sold for the next 4 years titled in the year they sold.
