2007 Ford Escape XLT SUV Silver FWD 4 Cyl Low Miles See Description Purchased this SUV in September of 2016 when it only had 53,000 miles. Now has approximately 114,000 mostly highway miles. I drove the car as an Uber driver doing lots of highway trips from Greater Cincinnati Airport until it was wrecked in early October. I also had the air conditioning compressor replaced over the summer so that is a new and expensive part. It was hit on the driver's side doors, mainly driver door. The car is still drivable but door frame is bent in on driver's side and at the very least the driver's side front door will need replaced, possibly rear driver side door as well. The rear fenderwell on the driver's side also has some body rot unrelated to the accident that I have seen on numerous other Escapes and it is always the driver's side under the gas cap and never on the passenger's side. The frame will need to be straightened at the bottom or possibly cut out and replaced because there is some rust. See pictures. The accident also caused a tiny crack in the windshield near the VIN number that can probably be sealed with resin. It is in the bottom corner and does not affect visibility. Car is drivable as is but steering column makes noise when wheel is turned either way. I have driven it on the highway with no real chatter though it definitely needs to be realigned after repairs. Both doors that were involved in the accident still latch firmly shut, front driver's side has to be slammed pretty firmly to get it to latch but it does latch securely. The engine and transmission are fine, it has alloy or aluminum rims and is very clean on the inside. Also has premium sound, a 6 disc CD changer, and a sliding sun roof but it opens partially and will not slide. It was that way when I bought it. Could be used as parts or as a project car for someone who can do body and frame work on their own to save on labor costs. I really loved this truck ad was sad to see it get wrecked. I am hoping someone else can fix it up and get more use from it. The low end of the "Fair" condition on Kelley Blue Book is $3167 so I am using $2995 as a starting point on price and will consider all reasonable offers. I do have a balance to pay on a loan to free the title so please be fair and don't lowball. I am more than happy to answer questions or send more pictures on request.
