Specifications: 2006 Ford F-150 Pickup, XL, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, Extra Cab w/2 Full Doors & 2 (½) Small Rear Doors, Ford 4.6 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Cruise Control, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, 145” Wheelbase, GVWR - 6,800#, GAWR Front – 3,300#, GAWR Rear – 3,800#, P235/70R17 Tires, VIN: 1FTRF12W46NA52675, 309,993 Miles. Negatives on truck: 1. Transmission in truck is slow to engage in forward drive gears, once placed in drive the truck will move once you give it a little gas, it will stay engaged in drive until the truck comes to a complete stop where the process starts all over, reverse work perfectly, higher gears work fine, will probably need to be addressed eventually but will drive now and once you get it on the highway does fine, truck has extremely high miles. 2. Grill faded, headlights faded and some condensation on inside, strobe lights still attached on inside of grill, chips in paint on lower front bumper. 3. Rear bumper scratches and paint faded. 4. Lower bumper facia on passenger side becoming loose. 5. Plastic cowl faded and broken. 6. Windshield is cracked, and rock pecked in places. 7. Duct tape is stuck to top of cab. 8. Yellow paint spot on fender above wheel well on passenger side. 9. Wheel cap cover missing on one wheel. 10. Driver’s seat bottom cushion beginning to crack and tear. 11. Marks and scuffs on passenger side dash. This pickup until a week ago was owned by a local public works department in our neighboring State of Louisiana which is about 100 miles from our location. It was used by an employee of the public works department (probably superintendent - doesn't seem it was actually worked out of) (see link for current auto-check history report), no salvage, flood or major damage history and has been on a fleet maintenance program since new! We purchased the truck directly from the public works department along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we had it hauled back to our location where we checked the fluids, cleaned it and then took photographs/video for eBay. THE TRANSMISSION IS SLOW TO GO INTO DRIVE. The truck cranks right up and drives down the highway great except slow going in first gear, engine is strong and runs well, noted transmission issue, air conditioning isn’t cold but most likely need charging, heat is hot, stereo works properly, no dash lights or warning lights- the tire condition is like new and can clearly be seen in the photos! Please take a look at the photos and remember it is slow shifting into gear from a stop, looks like it was driven by a superintendent or manager, truck body is almost perfect, the truck has a rubber bed cover and the actual truck bed underneath the mat is almost perfect too – please look at photos and inspect the plastic cowl underneath the windshield, it is weather faded and broken, faded paint on the grill as well as small scratches on lower front and rear bumper, one of the wheel cap covers is missing, the interior is in good shape overall with the exception of the driver’s seat bottom which is starting to crack, the passenger side dash has some marks/scuffs – look at photo links, other than what is mentioned what you see is what you get! Please remember the truck was owned by a public works department employee and is not brand new, runs and drives, transmission goes into low gear, truck body is in great shape and besides the transmission issue seems to have plenty of life left in it. We are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, run and drive and to have a known transmission issue.
