Nice original example of a 1978 Triumph T140V Bonneville, owned by the same family since new. Matching frame and engine numbers. The brakes have been gone through, carburetors cleaned and the bike runs and drives. At only 6071 miles, it has a lot of life left in it. There is rust pitting in some of the chrome. The paint is in good condition for a bike that is almost 40 years old - although not perfect. You are more than welcome to make an appointment if you would like to see it in person - we are located about 90 miles north of Detroit. All the lights, switches and signals work as they should. The seat is in good condition but could use a new cover. Personally, this is the condition I like to find these old bikes in when I want to ride them - nice enough to ride and get a lot of looks but not too nice to be afraid to take it out. If you pay by certified or bank checks, they have to clear our bank before we will release the motorcycle. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction end.
