Specifications: 2004 Ford F-150 XL Heritage Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 2 Door Regular Cab, Triton 4.6 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Bench Seat, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Cassette, Owner’s Manual, 120” Wheelbase, Full Size Spare Tire, GVWR – 6,050#, GAWR Front – 2,800#, GAWR Rear – 3,500#, P235/70R16 Tires, VIN: 2FTRF17W24CA32663, 180,502 Miles. List of Negatives on Truck: 1. Truck has tap in engine and oil light comes on from time to time, could be an oil pump going out, engine is full of oil and no leaks. 2. Small dent in driver side rear fender in front of tire. 3. Small scrapes on driver’s door pillar. 4. Front headlights oxidized and faded. 5. Front bumper faded and has scraps in places. 6. Damage to lower rocker panel behind passenger front tire. Damage is on fender as well as lower rocker panel beneath door. 7. Truck bed is dented and has surface rust but no holes. 8. Headliner is beginning to fall above each seat. 9. Some interior pieces are beginning to fade, and steering wheel has sticky residue on it from sitting in sun. This pickup until a week ago was owned by a local government agency (county health department) in our neighboring State of Alabama which is about 100 miles from our location. It was used by an employee of the agency since new in 2004 (see link for current auto-check history report), no salvage-flood-fire history and has been on a fleet maintenance program! We purchased the truck directly from the government agency along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we had it towed 100 miles to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids and then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck cranks and runs just fine but the engine has a tap in it and the oil light will come on from time to time, the engine is full of oil so we think it may be time for an oil pump, we haven’t ran the engine very long because of this reason and don’t won’t to cause irreversible damage, the engine has good compression and is strong but the light tap suggest that oil isn’t being pumped like it should which is probably why is was removed from service and sold - the transmission shifts properly and everything seems to work, the AC gets cold, the heat gets hot and the radio works. This truck was ordered as a bare bones model for one or two employees to work out of, the truck was driven by city employees and has several dents, scraps and scuffs all around, the bed is still in really good shape for its age and the tires are in better than average condition for age and tread and can clearly be seen in the photos. We are selling the truck as is and guarantee it will crank and drive (just not far) with a clean-clear title and bill of sale.
