Specifications: 1996 Ford F-150 Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, 2-Door Regular Cab, Ford 5.0 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Dual Gas Tanks, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, 117” Wheelbase, GVWR – 6,100#, GAWR Front – 2,750#, GAWR Rear – 3,800#, P235/75R15 Tires, VIN: 1FTEF15NXTLB57407, 120,495 Miles. This pickup until this week was owned by a county health department in our neighboring State of Alabama, the agency which is about 100 miles from our location purchased the truck new and was used by employees as a work truck (see link for current auto-check history report), only one reported damage-wreck history (minor accident) and has been on a fleet maintenance program but has been worked out of! We purchased the truck directly from the government agency along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we checked the fluids and drove it 100 miles to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck cranks right up and drives down the highway great with no issues or problems, engine is strong and runs great, transmission shifts out properly, oil pressure is good, engine temperature is good, fluids look good, air conditioning is cold, heat is hot, pickup does not have any warning or service lights on the dash, tire condition can be seen in the photos and truck seems to have plenty of life left in it! Please take a look at the photos and notice the following, truck has several dings, dents and scratches all around it – the paint on the entire truck is faded and scratched, you can tell city employees have driven it all around town running into stuff – look at the photos, the front tires are worn out completely and by the looks of them unit is most likely out of alignment (from the tire wear), the transmission works fine but the shifter linkage needs a little adjusting, will go into any gear but can be difficult to find sometimes, all gears shift out as they should and don’t slip - not a transmission issue at all simply lever/linkage, the interior has some rough spots, driver’s side seat torn, headliner has some rips, dash has some cracks, gas tank swap button broken– again look at the photos, the inside of the pickup bed is also scratched up and rusted in the bed but the rust is simply surface rust, no holes whatsoever – simply can tell they worked out of it, the owner’s manual is missing, windshield wiper handles are rusted, just old cheap work truck! We are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, run and drive, is 100% roadworthy, is rough in spots but does run and drive good for its age especially, will make someone a great work truck, perfect farm truck or perfect truck to put a worker in!
