SOLD WITH CT DMV BILL OF SALE A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO FUND THE NEW ENGLAND MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM The Triumph Trident was the last major motorcycle developed by Triumph Engineering at Meriden, West Midlands. It is a 750 cc air-cooled unit construction pushrod triple engine. 1971 was the first year for the five gear transmission. It has a conventional chassis and suspension. The motorcycle was badge-engineered to be sold under both the Triumph and BSA marques. It is also known as the BSA Rocket 3. It was part of Triumph's plan to extend the model range beyond their 650 cc parallel twins. Created to meet the demands of the US market, the smooth 750 cc three-cylinder engine had less vibration than the existing 360° twins. 27,480 Rocket 3/Tridents were produced during its seven-year history. This bike has been repainted black with high end Imron paint and many parts have been re-chromed by Duane years ago before he parked the bike. It also has gold and white custom logos It’s absolutely a gorgeous bike and one of the fastest bikes Triumph has ever made. ______________________________________________________________________ Please check out our detailed video on this motorcycle: 1971 Triumph Trident 750 T150V - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo] *May take a second to load if you are on mobile!* Here’s what some of our many customers have to say about Kaplan Cycles! “I bought five motorcycles from Ken and plan to buy more. A new top end gasket kit is recommended if you are looking to for a daily rider. The bike fell off the kickstand and was dropped on the left side so the foot peg and center stand lever are slightly bent up and The handle bars are also slightly off center. There is an unrelated crack on the fiberglass left side cover by the T150V logo and a few scratches on the muffler. It appears to need a new horn. The Bike is a work of art, a fine example of English craftsmanship...and very beautiful! __________________________________________________________________ Call our shop at 860-454-7024 if you have any questions!
