Recently featured on Bringatrailer auctions, this 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 with 20k original miles and is 5-speed manual example that was sold new in Arizona. The car remained with its original owner until 2015. Through my nearly 2 years of ownership, I've had the car almost fully restored! I've invested nearly $20,000 in professional repairs/restoration. The car runs and drives excellent now. Everything works as it should. Mechanically is it almost 100% restored, cosmetically, 80% or so. I have ALL receipts from DeLorean for the OEM parts used and the Euro shops that did the work on the car in a file. I also have the original owner's manual, a car care kit, a spare un cut OEM key, and other items. The car has a clean Carfax, clean Arizona title in my name. Cooling fan fail warning light is on due to relay upgrade kit. There is not a problem with them, it is a symptom of the relay upgrade kit and discussed in a Delorean technical bulletin. Most owner's pull that bulb as directed by DMC. I included the bulletin in my file. This car gets compliments everywhere I go! I've driven it here in the 100 plus degrees and on the highway across town with no issues. All receipts included, DMC car care kit, and original owner's manual.
