BMW Motorcycle 1983 R80RT Rolling Project Bike for SALE! This R80RT has free turning engine lowers, with connecting rods in place. I had recently seen this motor running prior to disassembly so I am confident that it will build back well. I did not drive the bike so can not vouch for the transmission, but neither it nor the rear drive have any oil leaks. This motorcycle has clear NJ title in my name ready to be signed over to new owner, and does have matching frame and engine vin #'s. The snowflake wheels appear to be in very good condition and the bike rolls smoothly and easily. There are places on the frame showing surface rust but nothing appears more than that. What you see in the pics is exactly what you get and I showed the front engine cover removed to show there is NO ignition canister with this bike. I would welcome and questions but will tell you now I do not have the items missing from this bike. The 43K mileage I estimated based on the condition of the machine since no speedo or notes on original title, if anything tried to be conservative. This project is ready for your creative rebuild!
