I picked up this 1982 SX4 4x4 in trade recently from a man that owned it for 29 years. Car has the original 4.2L straight 6 engine. Car runs and drives good. Car is very complete and has been well preserved. All the accessories such as lights, wipers, heater, horn and even the old school Kenwood cassette deck work as they should. Interior is in great shape with only one small tear in the drivers seat. The headliner is sagging some but is not torn up and could be re-glued. Car was repainted many years ago and while it is no show car the paint presents well. Tires are in great shape as are the Jeep wheels. No rust of any kind on the car! Car has the original spare tire and jack still installed in the back. I also have the owners manual. The little items that could use attention, 4x4 shifter does not work and the car is currently in AWD it runs down the road just fine this way but you cannot take it out of AWD, Tachometer does not work. There is one small crack in the windshield. Car has many little oil leaks as can be seen in the pictures. I have driven the car and it runs very good, starts up and runs with no problems every time!
