This Vehicle is located in South Lyon, MI 48178. I am listing it for a good friend who is having to make an unexpected move for work, and needs to sell this truck. It need some transmission work, but they don't have the time or money to pay for having it pulled, so selling as-is. Please see description below for full details on the trans issues. It still runs and drives, but you probably want to plan on towing it if you have a long way to go just to be safe. -2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 -144,473 miles -Off Road and Sport Package- 2 owner vehicle-Power everything-Strong Heat, A/C works, but needs a charge -5.9L V8 Magnum Engine -K&N Cold Air Intake, Gibson Short Tube Headers, Flowmaster Super 40 muffler with turndown tips. -46RE 4-speed Automatic Transmission -17" Aluminum Rims w/ 285/70/R17 Kelly Safari TSR tires -Black UWS Deep Truck Box-One extra wheel included -Truck has been in Michigan for 4 years, prior to that Texas and Mississippi. Both door edges have minor rust (see pics) -Dashboard is cracked (see pics), which is common for this model -Transmission issues: There is a delayed shift between 1st and 2nd, otherwise it runs in all gears and drives normal. It will currently not shift into park, which is a new development. No guarantees how long the transmission will continue to run. Recommend towing/hauling unless you are pretty close by. -The transmission needs to be pulled to determine the problem and since they are moving unexpectedly, they don't have the time or money to invest so need to sell. -Other than transmission truck runs good and has been a daily driver.
