Up for auction is this Willy's Overland Whippet four door sedan. Just out of a long storage, this car was once restored and has always been cared for, No rust ever!!! The miles on the car at listing are 11,295 and we believe them to be actual. However the previous owner guessed at the miles when transferring the title from one family member to another and the title states 12,001 actual miles. After some soul searching we have decided not to make a hot rod out of this car since it is so nice. We have got it running nicely and we are going to offer it at "NO RESERVE". We put in a new battery and lights, gauges and horn as well as wipers all work. Even the gas gauge on top of the tank in the rear works. We replaced tubes in two of the tires and all 5 hold air. Brakes work and are mechanical, steers, drives and shifts nicely. Paint is old but shines nicely but has some flaking as is pointed out. The roof is near perfect. Nice glass and chrome. Tires are in decent shape. The interior appears to be original and of course is showing it's age but does not appear to have ever had any leaks, doesn't smell, no varmit damage and I truly believe this car has always been stored in doors. Frame, floors,wood, everything is clean and nice on this 85 year old car. Now to this auction. There is NO RESERVE, high bidder wins the car. We will not end the auction early, it will sell on eBay, no exceptions. The car is sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
