Up for sale is a 1967 Mustang. It was originally a 289 2 barrel C code car. It now has a 1965 289 4 barrel A code engine in it. I was told by previous owner that the engine was rebuilt. I pulled one valve cover and it looks very clean so I believe him. It was running and driving when I bought it but it sat too long and gas went bad. I cleaned the carb and drained the tank. After I drained the tank I removed it and found that it was rusty on the inside. There was a fuel filter between the pump and tank so no rust got into the engine. I ordered a new tank, sending unit, and fuel line. It will be included in the sale. All of the brake system has been replaced, master cyl, lines, pads, everything. It is a factory air conditioned car but it does not work, all the parts are there. Still has the original hub caps and AM radio. Its all original with one repaint and some body work. The bad - Both rear quarters and outer wheelhouses need replaced. Hood has rust and needs replaced, small rust spots on top of front inner fender wells and area under battery rusted. The passenger floor was replaced, the driver side is original and solid. Frame rails appear to be solid, as well as rocker panels. Trunk and rear inner wheelhouses look good. I scraped away some of the factory seam sealer, see pics. It has new dual exhaust on it but needs to be taken to a shop so they can tweak it to fit a little better. I also have a GT style rear valance panel for it, new battery tray with hardware, and a pair of chrome valve covers. This was going to be a project for myself and my stepson but we haven't found the time. He'll be 16 in a couple months so we decided to buy something a little closer to being done. I do have a clear title. I tried to explain everything but I'm sure I missed something. You will need a trailer to pick this up, I can help load. $500.00 deposit within 48 hours.
