This van until a few weeks ago was owned by a government operated/owned by a school district in our neighboring State of Louisiana, was replaced with a new a little over two years ago because of appearance, age and miles, has sat idle not being used since then. We purchased the bus/van directly from them along with about 20 other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we cranked it, drove it about 20 miles, replaced the battery with a new one, washed it and photographed for eBay. The van cranks right up on its own power, engine and transmission run and shift properly, we have not driven it a long distance but have ran it down the road several miles and let it run long enough to warm up, etc. The running gear seems great, it does have a check engine light on and photos of the diagnostic code are shown in the photo links, showing to be 02 sensor and shift solenoid, probably just the 02 sensor needs replacing – very inexpensive fix, we would also suggest a good servicing/lubing from one end to the other because it sit not being used for so long, new wiper blades and may have to replace a few light bulbs, etc. As you can see in the photos the paint is chipping/peeling off, it has came off the roof and edges of the roof and has started peeling off the fenders – typical for Chevrolet and Dodge vans in these years, the body and bumper also have a few dings-dents-scratches around it, the school district decals have been painted over and the word maintenance and unit # are still on the van, all of the tires hold air and roll down the road but are showing signs of dry rot – would suggest putting a new set on, the headliner has fallen out and is not in the van, the racks-containers in the back are nice and are loaded with electrical supplies, other than that what you see is what you get. We are selling the van with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, drive down the road although we would suggest a good servicing before traveling too far, it is selling regardless of price, please remember it is 15 years old and is ugly, miles are very low, does crank and run and is not running hot, blowing or burning oil or anything like that, seems to still have plenty of life left in it, fix a few dents and put a paint job on it and you will have a very low mileage nice looking work van, will make someone needing a great work van, cargo van, around the farm van or just good work vehicle a good one!
