DO NOT LET THIS ONE GO!! Superb Silver, Fresh New Car Store trade-in, 2 owner specimen. I am positive this is the NICEST BMW 525it wagon on eBay! It looks, feels, smells, drives like a car with HALF it's age and miles! I HATE smoke and can't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. Ash tray is perfect. Cig lighter is perfect and unused. Interior smells like a BMW should....you KNOW that BMW smell....it's all inside this one! More on that later....the exterior is amazing! No door dings. No door scrapes Easily an 8.5-9 out of 10. Factory Angel eyes work as they should along with all the exterior illumination. Front bumper cover looks great! Minimal typical rock chips on the nose and hood. Actually considering I can't see any signs of bodywork or repaints....the LACK of chips and scratches is awesome! Roof looks awesome too! Barely any parking curb rash under the front lip. No cracks, damages or holes to either bumper covers. Even the headlights are super duper clean and clear with minimal yellowing or fade stains. Looks to be nearly new matching Bridgestone tires at every corner. All ride on nearly perfect undamaged vibration free rims! I was amazed at how beautiful the wheels were while I easily wiped them off. No soccer mom curb rash or chipping/fading paint. Unseen are the recently replaced rotors and brakes. Appears too have been dealer replaced since the rotors seem to have a factory style anti-rust coating on them vs. the cheepie Chinese bare "steel" versions from the local Auto Parts store. Zero grinding. Zero pulsing. ALL stopping! Body is super clean. Super straight. No dents. No rust save for the 2 rust bubble areas shown below. Kind of a poor drainage design on BMW's part....the top edge of the tailgate on both sides is bubbling up. Easily repaired if desired. Note the excellent damage-free, rear bumper cover. Super straight. Seriously. No dings. No dents. No rust under the doors. Hate to pull the "highway miles" card....but it HAS to be...then also garage kept. If you do qwik math....it's about 10,000 miles a year since new. LOW MILES! Above and below....I can count on ONE finger...how many obvious dings or major scratches on the body...I was able to find. If there are any others, they are teeny tiny. Onto the interior.....9+ out of 10. Yes...9+. I deduct (nitpick) for a few worn edges on the seat controls from getting in and out, a tiny puncture on a door panel, and the radio pixels are half unreadable. The good thing is, the gauge cluster info panel shows the radio stations just fine. As stated above, no signs of a former smoker. Inspect the pictures below and you will see the ONLY way this interior gets better....is to buy new. Driver's bolster isn't worn....not kinda worn....not showing cracks....NOT worn. It looks amazing. Carpet is uber clean....pick a spot and eat off it. No obvious stains or wear marks. No typical wear on the weatherstripping at the foot of the driver's sill. Dash, wood grain trim(uncracked and shiny), steering wheel(unworn), leather, vinyl, cloth headliner, buttons, controls...everything looks amazing! See for yourself.... Above and below you can see the pixels are nice with only the right side a little dim. Note ALL the dummy lights come on during startup with NONE staying on during run. The "check engine" was on when I got the car. Cylinder #1 and #4 random misfire. Swapped out the old spark plugs for new ones, cleared the codes. Hasn't returned since after about 20 miles of driving with multiple starts and shutoffs. No worries. ALL the power items work as they should: power windows, heated power seats, cruise, AM/FM/CD player (pre-wired for CD changer from factory as usual), Traction Control, Hot Heat, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, Dual Digital climate controls, locks, transmission modes, steering wheel controls, auto dim rearview, HomeLink (garage doors), etc!! The sunroof is the ONLY finicky thing as it slides back and forward fine, but needs a little help flipping up. I feel it just needs a little alignment adjustment since it pops back down just fine. Even the cupholders function properly!! Glass is clean and clear. Above you can see the one tiny puncture (black spot) on the armrest. Rear seating and cargo area looks never used! Rear cargo cover is perfect. Divider works properly. Factory front rubber floormats along with the full set of factory carpet mats are included and in great shape, altho they will need to be cleaned. Sadly the full sized spare rim/tire is missing. Easy to find a suitable replacement for cheap, especially if you have a Pick-N-Pull type junkyard nearby. I do not have one near me unless I drive an hour each way. Any 5 series (of this era) rim will do for an emergency. The COMPLETE factory issued manuals are included!! Patrick BMW even inserted a few dealer service stamps. Only one working keyfob/key is included. Open the hood and guess what?? You can eat off ANY spot in here too! Strong battery fires the engine right up. It's smooth and quiet with no noises or issues. Oil is spotless as if it came straight from the bottle. Coolant is clean. No overheating. Transmission shifts as it should thru every gear. As stated, brakes are recently new and work perfectly. Suspension is noise free and tight. No popping, squeaking or rattling. Car drives straight and smooth over any pavements with no unusual pulling or wandering. Underneath the car you will see a clean underbelly with no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. Nothing wet. No greasy buildup. No spots on my shop floor overnight. I swear on my excellent feedbacks that this car looks and drives every bit of a 60K car!!
