1982 Honda XR

You are considering a Vintage Honda XR250R dirt bike. This is the bike your rich buddy had that you always wanted. These bike are very hard to find and all sell for a premium. This bike does not run.The motor turns over fine and seems to have good compression , The man I purchased the bike from said he and his buddy tried to push start it and it wanted to run,but didn't. I bought this beast to take apart and sell for parts. The fenders are there but would need replaced. The wheels need a good cleaning but seem to be in good condition. The seat and tank are in good condition. The motor has not leaked any fluid in my garage. The motor looks complete. Could be an easy fix to get it running.I don't know. I did have the tank and seat listed on EBay but decided to try to sell whole bike.The rims , frame , suspension, engine , exhaust , everything sells at a premium as original parts are hard to find. The exhaust says XR500 on it. I'm thinking that MAYBE they put the same exhaust on both the XR250 and XR500. Again I do not know for sure. I am not a motorcycle guy. I'm a seller. I craigslist daily and go to local flea markets every weekend buying items to resell. Ask any and all questions before bidding. Please do not bid if you are not going to pay. This bike is 34 years old. The XR does not have a speedometer. The auction required a mileage number to complete the listing. I will give you a bill of sale. I do not have a title.
