Having owned 4 VW dealers over the years, he used to daily-drive an R32 and can regularly be found driving something cool and unique, but not ostentatious. He commissioned this Van to be built and maintained by his expert techs over the course of several years for his personal use. This Eurovan is a unique blend of high performance modification and utility, people-moving and camping ability. It's got three rows of seats, with the rear folding down into a bed. There is a folding dining table, power inverter and rotating captains chairs. This is one of the few cars that you can enjoy a canyon drive, then park, set up, have dinner and camp out right inside the same vehicle! The car has numerous utility and performance enhancements, including a 24-Valve 3.2 VR6 swap that was done in Dec 2012. The car also sports also a custom stainless steel exhaust system. There are HID headlights, Hella Driving Lights, a fold-out awning, and power inverter in back. The seats have been re-trimmed in matching gray leather. The car sits on Rotiform VCE 18x8.5" wheels with newer Continental HP All Season tires. The car also comes with a set of steel wheels with Snow tires. Suspension has been upgraded with H&R springs, sport shocks and a larger sway bar. Audio is handled by a Kenwood fold-out LCD navigation receiver with Bluetooth hands-free kit. This gives an idea of how great and sporty it sounds, although from inside the van it's very quiet at cruising speed. Also, we'd like to add that a Go-Westy transmission cooler was added just after the engine swap to help protect the transmission, which has worked flawlessly since we owned the car. It has had a recent fluid change service to ensure longevity of the gearbox.
