Original 2.3-16 190E The car comes from Spain, because of that it has a rustfree body! Which is rare because many of them have rusted out.The car needs a service but the engine runs very good, it runs smooth without strange noises and pulls like it should. The 5-speed Dogleg gearbox shifts like it should doesn’t whine, rear axle is silent. Overall a good car to drive. The car has only driven 99 thousand kilometers which equates to 61 K Miles. It drives like this as well. The doors shut well and all the 2.3-16 parts are there. The 2.3-16 bucket seats are in a very good condition. The electric front windows and even the electric sunroof work!What isn’t so good about the car is the fact that in general it needs 3 things.-A quality resprayThe clear coat is gone and it has deep scratches from vandalists. Plus the rear passenger’s side door has a dent. -The dashboard should be changed. The spanish sun did take care of the body but it ruined the dashboard, dashboards can be bought for normal money, anywhere between 50-150 dollar since they’re the same as a normal 190-model. -The doorcards are gone since the trim on the top side shrunk. This car has the full leather seats and needs to have the full leather/leatherette door panels to match with the seats. These can be bought from a normal 190-model. As you may read and can see on the pictures the car is a great base for a small restoration to end up with a beautiful german autobahn hunter. These cars have gone up in value a lot and aren’t stopping. Good ones change hands at over $25K. Find many Big Pictures below!
