Specifications: (THIS UNIT HAS ENGINE PROBLEMS AND IS NOT RUNNING PLEASE READ BELOW~) 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pickup, 4-Door Crew Cab, 4WD – 4x4 – 4 Wheel Drive, Single Wheel Front Axle, Single Wheel Rear Axle, Ford Powerstroke 6.0 Liter V8 Turbo Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Tow-Haul Button, Hydraulic Brakes, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Seats, Air Conditioning, Heat, Vent, AM/FM Stereo, Rubber Floor, Rear Trailer Receiver Hitch, Trailer Light/Brake Connection, 156” Wheelbase, GVWR – 8,800#, GAWR Front – 4,800#, GAWR Rear – 6,084#, LT235/75R15 Tires, VIN: 1FTNW21P83EC02359, 259,920 Miles. Located in Mississippi, this pickup was owned since new by a government agency (county public works department) and was used around the county by the maintenance crew until about a year ago when it was parked and replaced with a new one because of age/replacement schedule. We purchased the pickup along with several more items directly from the county government, not from a broker, dealer or auction, purchased it in a package of trucks/equipment and have very little information about the truck. The truck was parked at the facility and had no batteries in it, we hauled it to our location when purchased several weeks ago and just recently last week decided to put some new batteries in it and crank, after putting the new batteries in it sounded like the starter was dragging, we checked the cables, checked the new batteries and also attempted to crank directly from starter and same thing happened, we then purchased a new starter for the truck and replaced the old one thinking it was just a weak starter, the engine still turns over the same way, hooked additional jumper cables to each battery and tried to crank with additional power connected and received the same result, engine will turn over, does not sound like it has any dead spot or hard to turn spot just will not turn fast, oil on dipstick is good, water in radiator is good! Please watch the video of the engine turning over slowly, that video is done with just a large heavy duty jump box connected to it, when you put hot batteries in it, etc. it still turns over very, very slow not fast enough to actually crank up. At the time we currently have more work and things to do than we have time so we decided to just sell it as a non-running truck. What you see in the photos is what you get, truck has a spot on the hood where paint is chipped off, has paint worn off the bumper, dents, dings and scratches around, driver’s seat and rear passenger seat both have a tore/ripped spot in them and additionally you will have to do some type repair to get it running! You are getting the truck with a new starter although we pulled the new batteries back out and you are not getting them, have receipt for the new starter which was purchased at a well-known local alternator/starter repair shop. The truck will need to be towed/hauled from our location and will not currently crank, you may already know what is wrong with it from the description, you may not and get lucky with a simply easy cheap fix or you may not be lucky and end up with a pickup needing an engine, we don’t know exactly but do know we don’t really have the time to spend trying to repair and considering it was purchased with a package of items don’t really have a lot of money tied up in it, with the exception of the new starter, so just turning it into cash!
