Ok...ok....so "Triple Black" may be a little exaggerated since the interior is a dark gray with black trim...but I haven't had a Triple Black car to sell in forever!! Play along with me! Recently traded in to a big name Import new car store...This car is super gorgeous!! Everything you need, nothing you don't! The rear wing really sets this one off from all the others you have seen. Throw in the 5 speed feature, and I'd bet it's a rare car, indeed. The paint is actually the metallic black...wait til the Sun hits it!! Exterior is an easy 8+ out of 10. A few touchups and a professional buff, and it becomes a 9+ all day. The black top looks as the day it was new. No obvious holes, cuts or tears. Minimal fold lines. No signs of any leakage...only way I could tell was from the car wash I gave it. No moldy smells. No water stains. I HATE smoke and I can't see or smell any signs of it inside. For the records, I kinda fell in love with this car when I picked it up a few months ago. In that time, I dragged my feet with listing as I was personally using it daily! In the winter even! But....the time has come to let go. I have logged over 1000 miles on it to ensure it's reliability! Above and below are the largest blemishes on the entire car. The bumper cover cracks. I didn't even notice em until I wiped the car dry. Standing and looking down, can't see em. Easily repaired if desired since there are no pieces missing. Otherwise aside typical rock chips and parking curb rash way underneath, the bumper cover looks great. No other damages to point out. Hood has minimal typical rockchips. I'm announcing a "handful of dings" but I can't see any obvious dings to point out. No dents. No signs of former or current rust. I'm no bodyman, but I can't see any signs of any major accident repair or repaint. Expect a normal amount of light scratches and chips. Matching UniRoyal tires look to have been recently replaced sporting 95+% treadlife. ALL ride on clean vibration free damage free rims. Custom Saab air caps are included! Unseen are the recently replaced brakes front and rear. No grinding or pulsing, only tight stopping power. Hood shines like a mirror. Top looks excellent. Fuzzies stuck to the top are free....no charge. Left rear corner of bumper cover has a little paint chip. Easily touched up. Trunk lid is beautiful as is the wing. Above you can see the rather large paint chip. Not sure what happened here as it was like this when I got the car. Amazingly there are no cracks, holes etc in the cover, just this weird flake. All the vinyl trim looks great with no cracks, damages or fading. Above, one large dime sized rockchip in the windshield. Fortunately it's high up near the visor on the passenger side, so no interference with vision. No cracks otherwise. Hard to see below but the plastic headlight lenses have a bit of milkiness to them, namely the passenger side one. In my 1000 miles drive time, nighttime driving was fine, bright in fact. The engine compartment looks perfect. Pick a spot and eat off of it!! Clean. Fresh spark plugs. Clean fluids. Recent STRONG Napa battery fires the perfectly running engine right up. Saab motors weren't the quietest, but this one is super smooth with no issues. Turbo spools as it should and pulls strong in any gear of the perfectly shifting 5 Speed transmission. Clutch grabs as it should with no slipping or chattering. When I got the car, it left a few spots on my garage floor after about a week. Upon inspection, I found a loose power steering clamp on the return line. I removed the old crappy squeeze clamp, and replaced with new. No more leak. Cleaned the light mess. Under the car is dry with no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No overheating. Car drives quiet, straight and smooth with no unusual pulling or wandering over any type of pavement. The interior is an easy 9+ out of 10. Nothing major...or minor to point out. Buttons look great and aren't worn including the steering wheel controls. Leather looks awesome with only minimal driver's bolster wear. No holes, cuts or tears to be found in the leather or trim. Rear seat looks never sat on. Carpet is clean with little or no stains or damages. Headliner looks great. As stated before, no signs of a former smoker. Steering wheel looks near perfect. Shift knob is worn, but evenly. All interior and exterior lighting works as it should. No dead pixels on the info panel, dash or radio displays. From what I can tell ALL the power items work as they should: power front seat,locks, mirrors, windows, dual digital climate control, info panel, AM/FM/CD player, power top, cruise, wipers, HOT HEAT, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONG (as best I can tell with the cold climate-I can hear the pump activate and feel temp drop), steering wheel controls, etc! Above you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with only the "Check Engine" light popping on and off(meaning the code was intermittent) over my 1000miles log time. I ran the codes and it came up something to do with coolant temperature reading low(I only have a simple code reader), yet the car heats up fine and shows in the middle on the gauge (as seen above). I blame either the thermostat needing to be changed or a faulty temp sensor, which most cars have at least 2-one for the gauge, one for the computer. The car never overheated and got awesome heat since I drove it in the winter, I KNOW this for sure. Did not affect the way the car ran/drove or fuel consumption. I have zero time to diagnose or replace the part. I can clear the code for you upon pickup and maybe it will stay off. MY LOSS, YOUR GAIN! NO RESERVE!! Note "Check OK" below. Above, the trunk area is super duper clean. Comes with TWO sets of factory issued floormats which could use a bit of scrubbing on the driver's carpet version. The license plate frame is ready to bolt back on. Unseen is the spare tire setup, aired up ready for your trip home. Above you can see the ENTIRE factory issued manual set is intact! Original business card too! Hard to see, but the car comes with BOTH original keyless keypads! Below you can see the top operates perfectly. Smooth. No hiccups or fluid noises. Open...close. Easy.
