For Sale is a 1969 Chevelle SS 396. I rec'd this car in a trade, so I really don't know its history other than it has a build 427 roller engine, which just came out of a machine shop, and has never been fired. The transmission is also a built turbo 400. The rear end is a factory 12 bolt. The drivetrain is completely fresh. The interior is brand new. Headliner is semi installed. This car came with a vinyl roof, which the material is packed in the trunk. The exhaust is 3" with engine headers and flowing into Flowmaster mufflers. The wheels are "Star" (weld type brand) The new tires are BFG TA's. with no miles on them. The body is rust free, with no evidence of bodyfiller. The paint job is new, but not show quality. This was a a/c car, with the compressor is missing. That's about all I know about the car. I do have the fellows number, if you need more info. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, so bid to win!! I don't know if it's a 396, 427, 454, or 496. What I do know is that tons of money was spent on building this engine and it is all fresh and never has been started. I will just call it a FRESH BIG BLOCK. The body is solid and rust free. Frame is excellent. As mentioned before, the rear end is a factory 12 bolt posi, gear ratio unknown. Beautiful custom 3" exhaust system. In my opinion this car would look awsome painted Black, as the body is that straight.
