Up for your consideration is a 2002 Ford Escape for parts only. It has 230,000 miles and a great deal of rust on the frame according to my mechanic. I am the original owner and am sad to say that after investing a couple thousands dollars in it over this past year, the transmission went bad :( Not worth fixing due to rust. The front passenger door does not open (needs new handle) sometimes the back hatch opens, sometimes it doesn't. One week before the transmission went bad I put a $300 radiator in it. Brand new tires with less than 500 miles, new windshield, new brakes all the way around. It ran like a charm ! The car was well maintained but unfortunately I live where it snows half the year and they put the crap on the roads to melt the snow and rust the vehicles.
