For Sale is my 1955 Ford F 100 “Cool Blue” patina pickup truck, with modern reliability in a patina package that everyone is looking for. The truck was built a couple of years ago and features a full frame swap from stock to a rust free modern Chevy S-10 frame with independent front suspension, rebuilt front end (bushing, joints, etc..) front sway bar, power disk brakes that stop on a dime, power steering, full new dual exhaust with flame throwers (Yes!!! Flame Throwers), new 12 Volt wire harness (front to back), reverse hood tilt kit, custom mounted battery box under the hood, electric fan, late model steering column, new weather stripping, Lokar shifter, new brake lines, new fuel lines, etc… Ford powerful, strong and smooth V8 Big Block 390 with a mild cam was custom mounted to the frame to power this beautiful Hot Rod truck. The famous heavy duty greater torque capacity C6 auto transmission makes sure that the truck goes through the gears as it should, and does so with a slight press of the gas pedal. The truck is slammed to the ground without air ride worries and sits at perfect ride height. This really is a work of art that you can drive and enjoy. This truck handles great and is built to drive anywhere with pleasure. The “Patina” that took years in the making was lightly scuffed and satin cleared over to preserve the look. The ford lettering on the tailgate was brought to a shiny finish to stand out from the rest of the truck. The original color of the truck which is Aquatone Blue that you find on the exterior of the truck was painted to a mirror finish on the inside of the cab and under the hood and extended to the inner fenders. The dash was perfected, shaving off all the unnecessary toggle switches and placing the neatly under the dash. The original gauges were replaced with electric Dolphin Gauges mounted on a Billet style dash. All original knobs on the glove box door and ash tray were switched to brand new aluminum knobs to match the theme. New custom molded carpet and kick panels along with a sound / heat damping floor mat was added to the floor to make the ride that much more pleasant, and the black adjustable bench seat with custom embroider FORD script logo, gives it that subtle nostalgic look. The original gas tank was removed from the cab and a brand new gas tank was fitted under the bed in the back. The trucks bed is all boxed for sturdiness and support. The elegant new custom wooden bed was then installed with stainless steel straps to give it contrast. All the chrome work on the truck was also changed and is new including, all ford hood badges, both door mirrors, exterior door handles, interior door handles, window crank handles, door strikers, chrome exhaust tips, antenna, etc.. Like I’ve mentioned in the ad previously this truck has FLAME THROWERS… they were custom built to shoot out the back exhaust, and shoots 3 to 4 foot long flames at a press of a switch and it looks and sounds insane. (check out video) All the wiring for the flame throwers were done professionally at a local speed shop and Speedway dual flame thrower kit was used to ensure safety. I’m sure I am forgetting a bunch of things but as you can tell this is a well-built truck, not something slapped together, it’s everything you need to get your “Patina On.” This hot rod has killer looks, the mean stance and draws crowds at every car show and everywhere you go. You won’t find another built like this. All the hard work is done all you have left to do is just turn the key and drive... Come by see it in person pictures don’t do it justice.
