This 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible is part of a movie star owned private collection of cars that we will be offering this week. It has been extremely well cared for and garage kept. A private mechanic maintained this collection by visiting the home once a month over many years. It starts easily with a jump, as the battery is dead. ( The current owner is 91 and has not been driving much over the past few years. ) The body is straight and looks fabulous. Very few issues with the most relevant pictured and small rust spot behind right real wheel circled in red. The top is in great condition and power top in good working order. The engine is a 351 Windsor and is running fine, but should be tuned once you receive it. Small emblem where hood ornament should go is missing. Tires & wheels look great. The owner was often voted "Best Dressed Man In Hollywood" and took impeccable care of his things. His car collection is a reflection of this.
